Quick verdict

Yes, EZ Loan is a legitimate licensed lender based on Singapore's Registry of Moneylenders list dated 1 July 2026. It appears under its legal entity, EZ Loan Pte. Ltd., at Marina Square with licence 19/2026, and it is one of PickMeALoan's participating lenders. That confirms its licence at the time of checking, but it does not mean every loan will be suitable or approved. Compare the actual rate, fees, total repayment, and instalment schedule before signing.

Compare personal loans on PickMeALoan

EZ Loan advertises rates from 0.82% per month for eligible applicants, but it does not publish a rate for every borrower. What you pay, and how much cash you receive after any administrative fee, only appears in a written offer.

Because EZ Loan participates in PickMeALoan, one application can request its offer alongside other participating licensed lenders. Compare personal loan options through PickMeALoan, then compare the same amount and repayment period for cash received, fees, instalments and total repayment. PickMeALoan is a commercial comparison and application platform, not the lender, and offers remain subject to each lender’s assessment.

What interest rate and fees does EZ Loan charge?

EZ Loan’s public page says it advertises rates from 0.82% per month for eligible applicants, and that it puts every rate and fee in writing. It does not publish a rate table, so you cannot work out your own cost from its website.

Total cost

Legal limit: Interest, late interest and fees together cannot exceed the loan principal

Compare: Total repayment and schedule; a lower instalment can cost more over a longer tenure

EZ Loan's from-0.82% figure applies to eligible applicants and is not a personal quote. The number that matters is the one in your contract.

The Ministry of Law’s borrower guide sets the legal limits for licensed lenders: interest up to 4% per month, late interest up to 4% per month on the amount repaid late, an upfront administrative fee up to 10% of principal, a late fee up to S$60 for each month of late repayment, and total charges no higher than the principal. These are maximum limits, not a sign of a good price. Compare the actual total repayment and payment schedule.

How does EZ Loan compare with PickMeALoan’s other participating lenders?

EZ Loan is one of five PickMeALoan participating lenders, with Best Licensed Moneylender, Credit Xtra, SGP Credit and Singa Credit. PickMeALoan coordinates the offer process and delivers offers in WhatsApp rather than handing your contact details to every lender for direct sales calls. You choose which offers to take forward. PickMeALoan does not lend money or decide approval.

Is EZ Loan legit and licensed in Singapore?

Yes. The Ministry of Law’s licensed moneylender list dated 1 July 2026 lists EZ Loan Pte. Ltd., licence 19/2026, at 6 Raffles Boulevard, #03-308, Marina Square, Singapore 039594, with the landline 6291 2832 and the website ezloan.com.sg. EZ Loan’s own website identifies the same legal entity and licence number.

One point worth knowing: several unrelated Singapore businesses trade under similar “EZ” names, and search results mix them together. The entity in this review is EZ Loan Pte. Ltd. at ezloan.com.sg, not any similarly named lender. Check the entity name, website, and address together rather than the brand name alone.

Licence details can change. Before visiting, applying, or sharing personal information, open the current Ministry of Law list and check that the entity name, website, phone number, and approved business address still match. The Ministry also warns that licensed moneylenders cannot solicit loans through SMS, phone calls, or social media, and must verify a borrower’s identity face to face at the approved place of business before granting a loan.

This EZ Loan review was fact-checked against the Ministry of Law registry and EZ Loan’s current website on 30 July 2026, and its rate evidence on 10 September 2026. PickMeALoan is a loan comparison and application platform, not a bank or moneylender. EZ Loan is a PickMeALoan participating lender; read the announcement of EZ Loan joining PickMeALoan for what that means and does not mean for your offer.

What are the strengths and limitations in this EZ Loan review?

Strengths

  • Current Ministry of Law list confirms EZ Loan Pte. Ltd. and its approved Marina Square address
  • Two central offices, at Marina Square and Beach Road, both a short walk from an MRT station
  • One of the broader published product menus among licensed lenders, including a dedicated foreigner loan
  • EZ Loan advertises an application result in about 20 minutes
  • Available through PickMeALoan, so its offer can be compared against others in one application

Limitations

  • Twenty minutes is an advertised result time, not guaranteed approval or disbursement
  • Final identity verification and loan collection require an in-person visit
  • Closed on Sundays and public holidays
  • The Marina Square office sits on the third floor inside a co-working space, which is discreet but harder to find on a first visit
  • No rate table is published; the from-0.82% figure applies only to eligible applicants

The main advantage is breadth and convenience. The product menu covers more borrowing purposes than most licensed lenders publish, and two central offices give you a choice of location. The trade-off is the same one that applies across this industry: the process cannot be completed fully online, and an advertised turnaround time tells you nothing about whether the final terms are affordable for you.

We have not presented a Google star score here. Public ratings and review counts change frequently, sources disagree on EZ Loan’s figures, and individual reviews cannot establish the cost or suitability of your own loan. If you read EZ Loan reviews on Google or another public platform, sort by newest and look for specific comments about explanations, documents, repayment handling, and problem resolution rather than relying on the average alone.

What can you borrow from EZ Loan, and who is eligible?

EZ Loan's website listed these loan pages when checked on 30 July 2026:

Personal loans
General-purpose borrowing assessed on the applicant's circumstances
Payday and short-term loans
Shorter-term options that require careful total-cost and repayment checks
Business and working-capital loans
Financing aimed at business rather than personal needs
Debt-consolidation loans
An option to review against formal debt-help and bank alternatives
Foreigner loans
A product aimed at work pass holders, still subject to income-based limits
Purpose-specific loans
Renovation, wedding, medical and education pages listed on its current website

Product labels are not loan terms. A dedicated page for your situation does not mean a better price. Ask EZ Loan for the principal disbursed, interest rate, administrative fee, repayment frequency, number of instalments, late charges, and total repayment for your exact offer.

For unsecured loans, the Ministry of Law borrower guide sets the total maximum amount you may borrow at any time across all licensed moneylenders in Singapore, including work pass holders applying for EZ Loan’s foreigner loan:

Unsecured borrowing caps across all licensed moneylenders

Singapore citizens and PRs

Annual income and total cap

Less than S$10,000
S$3,000
At least S$10,000 and less than S$20,000
S$3,000
At least S$20,000
Six times monthly income

Foreigners residing in Singapore

Annual income and total cap

Less than S$10,000
S$500
At least S$10,000 and less than S$20,000
S$3,000
At least S$20,000
Six times monthly income

These legal ceilings apply across all licensed moneylenders. They are not a guaranteed EZ Loan amount or approval. See the Ministry of Law borrower guide.

How does the EZ Loan application process work?

You can start with an enquiry, or request EZ Loan’s offer through a PickMeALoan application alongside other participating lenders. Ministry of Law rules require face-to-face identity verification at the licensed lender’s approved place of business before a loan is granted. Bring your NRIC or work pass, proof of income, and proof of address.

From enquiry to the approved office

  1. Enquiry

Enquire online or by phone, or request EZ Loan's offer through a PickMeALoan application alongside other participating lenders.

  2. Wait for the assessment

EZ Loan advertises a result in about 20 minutes; that is not guaranteed approval, rate or disbursement.

  3. Office verification

Visit the approved office for face-to-face verification, read the Note of Contract, and proceed only if the terms fit.

EZ Loan lists Monday to Saturday hours of 11 am to 7 pm and closes on Sundays and public holidays.

Read the Note of Contract before signing. Check the principal you will receive, interest, fees, instalment dates, late charges, and total repayment, and ask for an explanation in a language you understand. Never give anyone your Singpass password, and do not pay “GST”, processing, or other advance fees to a person who contacted you unexpectedly by message or phone.

Who may find EZ Loan suitable?

  • Borrowers with a specific, non-standard purpose

The published product menu covers more borrowing purposes than most licensed lenders list, so it is worth naming your exact need when you enquire.

  • People who work in or near the Marina and City Hall area

Both offices are central and within a short walk of an MRT station, which makes the required in-person visit easier to fit around a working day.

  • Work pass holders comparing licensed options

EZ Loan lists a dedicated foreigner loan, though borrowing limits set by the Ministry of Law still apply and approval is not guaranteed.

  • Borrowers who want to compare before committing

EZ Loan participates in PickMeALoan, so its offer can be placed next to others from a single application.

Who should consider alternatives?

Look beyond EZ Loan if you qualify for a lower-cost bank or financial-institution loan, cannot visit Marina Square or Beach Road in person, need Sunday service, or want a lender that publishes a rate for your profile before you apply. You should also pause borrowing altogether if the repayment would leave too little for rent, food, utilities, transport, or existing debts.

The Ministry of Law advises borrowers to consider government financial-assistance schemes, borrow only what they need and can repay, and shop around before committing. If you already have debt trouble, a new loan may move the problem rather than solve it. Our guide to why loans get declined covers the eligibility issues that most often cause a rejection.

For a direct provider comparison, read Crawfort versus EZ Loan. Crawfort and Finance Buddy are covered for independent research but are not currently available for offers through PickMeALoan. Before choosing any provider, read how to borrow money in Singapore and use the licensed moneylenders directory to understand verification, costs, and borrower protections.

What should you check before accepting an EZ Loan offer?

Five checks for an EZ Loan offer

  • Verify EZ Loan Pte. Ltd., licence 19/2026, and the Marina Square address on the latest Ministry of Law list, not a similarly named EZ business.
  • Ask whether you qualify for the from-0.82% rate, and get your actual rate, EIR and administrative fee in writing.
  • Confirm the instalment schedule, late charges and total repayment before signing.
  • Make sure the contract is explained in a language you understand, and keep a copy.
  • Do not sign a blank contract, hand over your identity documents or Singpass password, or pay an advance fee to an unsolicited contact.

EZ Loan’s advertised starting rate is a reason to request its offer, not proof that it will be the right loan. Compare its written offer with other participating lenders’ offers for the same amount and repayment period, and choose only a repayment you can sustain. Applying does not guarantee approval, a particular rate, or a particular loan amount.

Frequently Asked Questions

Yes, based on the Registry of Moneylenders list dated 1 July 2026. The list identifies EZ Loan Pte. Ltd. at 6 Raffles Boulevard, #03-308, Marina Square under licence 19/2026. Because the registry changes, verify the entry again before visiting or sharing personal information.
No. EZ Loan Pte. Ltd. is a licensed lender regulated by the Ministry of Law. A licensed lender is regulated, but it is not the same as a bank and may have different rates, fees, eligibility checks, and repayment terms.
EZ Loan advertises approval in about 20 minutes with disbursement shortly after. Treat that as EZ Loan's advertised processing time, not a promise of approval or disbursement. The Ministry of Law requires face-to-face identity verification at the approved business address before a licensed lender grants a loan.
EZ Loan lists two branches. The Marina Square office is at 6 Raffles Boulevard, #03-308, inside the JustCo co-working space, near Esplanade and Promenade MRT. The Beach Road office is at 3 Beach Road, #01-4853, Beach Road Gardens. The Marina Square address is the one recorded on the Ministry of Law registry list dated 1 July 2026.
EZ Loan's website listed a broad range of loan pages when checked on 30 July 2026, including personal, payday, business term, debt-consolidation, foreigner, renovation, wedding, medical and education loans. Availability, amount, price, and approval depend on its assessment and the final contract.
EZ Loan's public page, checked on 10 September 2026, advertises rates from 0.82% per month for eligible applicants, but EZ Loan does not publish one rate that applies to every applicant. For all licensed lenders, Ministry of Law rules cap interest at 4% per month and the upfront administrative fee at 10% of principal. Ask for the actual interest rate, fees, instalments, and total repayment in writing before deciding.
EZ Loan lists a foreigner loan product for work pass holders. An application is not guaranteed to be approved. Ministry of Law borrowing limits depend on annual income and apply across all licensed lenders.
EZ Loan may suit someone who wants a central branch and a wide product menu. It is one of PickMeALoan's participating lenders, with Best Licensed Moneylender, Credit Xtra, SGP Credit and Singa Credit, so one application can request its offer alongside theirs. Compare total cost, location and repayment schedule; each lender decides approval and final terms.
