1. What personal data we collect

When you use our loan comparison service:
- Identification data: name, NRIC/FIN number (via Singpass verification)
- Contact details: mobile phone number
- Financial data: income, employment status, loan amount requested
- Singpass MyInfo data: employment history, CPF contributions, and other fields you authorise during Singpass verification
When you browse our website:
- Device and browser information: IP address, browser type, operating system, screen resolution
- Usage data: pages visited, time spent, scroll depth, clicks, referral source
- Tracking identifiers: cookies, Google click IDs (gclid), Meta click IDs (fbclid), TikTok click IDs (ttclid), and UTM campaign parameters
- Google Analytics client ID

2. How we use your data
We use your personal data for the following purposes:
Loan matching (our core service):
- Matching your profile against lender eligibility criteria to generate personalised loan offers
- Delivering matched offers to you via WhatsApp
- Facilitating communication between you and the lender you choose to proceed with
Marketing and advertising:
- Displaying targeted advertisements to you on third-party platforms (Google, Meta/Facebook, Instagram, TikTok) based on your interactions with our website
- Building advertising audiences from website visitor data to reach people with similar profiles (lookalike/similar audiences)
- Measuring the effectiveness of our advertising campaigns (conversion tracking, attribution)
- Sending you marketing communications about loan products and promotions (only with your consent)
Analytics and improvement:
- Understanding how visitors use our website to improve content, design, and user experience
- Measuring website performance (page load times, errors)
- Analysing conversion funnels to improve our loan matching service

4. Who we share your data with
We share your personal data only in the following circumstances:
Licensed lenders: When you choose to proceed with a specific loan offer, we share your application data with that lender only. We do not share your data with any lender until you explicitly choose to proceed. Lenders are licensed by the Ministry of Law under the Moneylenders Act or regulated by the Monetary Authority of Singapore (MAS).
Advertising platforms: With your consent (via the cookie banner), we share website usage data with Google, Meta, and TikTok for the purposes described in Section 2 (marketing and advertising). This includes:
- Page visit data and conversion events
- Click IDs and campaign identifiers for attribution
- Hashed or pseudonymised identifiers for audience matching
We may in the future upload hashed customer data (such as email addresses or phone numbers) to advertising platforms for Customer Match / Custom Audience targeting. This would only occur with data from users who have consented to marketing use.
Service providers: We use third-party service providers for hosting, analytics, and communication (e.g., WhatsApp Business API). These providers process data on our behalf and are contractually required to protect your data.
Legal requirements: We may disclose data if required by law, regulation, or legal process.
We do not sell your personal data to any third party.
5. Data retention
We retain your personal data for as long as necessary to fulfil the purposes described in this policy:
- Loan application data: Retained for up to 3 years after your last interaction with us, or as required by law.
- Website analytics data: Retained for up to 26 months (Google Analytics default retention period).
- Advertising audience data: Retained by advertising platforms according to their own retention policies (typically 30-540 days for remarketing audiences).
- Cookie consent preferences: Stored in your browser’s local storage indefinitely until you clear it.
When data is no longer needed, we delete or anonymise it.
6. Data security
We implement appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect your personal data against unauthorised access, alteration, disclosure, or destruction:
- All data transmitted between your browser and our servers is encrypted using TLS (HTTPS)
- Singpass verification data is processed via the government’s secure API and is not stored by us beyond what is needed for the loan matching process
- Access to personal data is restricted to authorised personnel on a need-to-know basis
- We regularly review our security practices

7. Your rights under the PDPA
Under the Singapore PDPA, you have the right to:
- Access your personal data held by us
- Correct inaccurate or incomplete personal data
- Withdraw consent for the collection, use, or disclosure of your personal data (this does not affect data processing that occurred before withdrawal)
- Request deletion of your personal data, subject to legal retention requirements
To exercise any of these rights, contact our Data Protection Officer (see Section 8).
When you withdraw consent for marketing/advertising cookies, we will stop using your data for those purposes. Note that withdrawing consent may affect our ability to show you relevant loan offers through advertising channels, but it will not affect the core loan comparison service.
